FCM-A2 Folded Cutting Mat
Mat Specification

- Thickness: 2.5mm
- Folded Size: 450mm x 320mm
The multi-purpose 620 x 450mm sized “folding” mat / 450 x 320mm when folded.
Features: easy-to-read numbers and metric grids / 600 x 430mm / designed for quilt/patchwork applications such as easy measuring and accurate cutting of straight lines and precise angles. Designed for heavy-duty cutting, the 2.5mm -thick mat can be used with the OLFA utility and art knives, as well as OLFA rotary cutters.
The durable cutting surface is made of environment-friendly olefin resin, having a layer of durable hard olefin resin underneath.
The FCM-A2 features nonslip backing for cutting stability,
Self-healing, an OLFA original technology refers to the ability of the surface to return to its original shape after being cut and are ideal for general quilt cutting.
A three-layer structure and soft cutting surface realize smooth cutting even after many years use.

I have been wanting to buy a new snap-off 18mm utility knife for a number of years. I have two old ones where the blade had started to slip. I purchased a cheap version on Amazon, and returned it as it was even worse. I then came across the name of "Olfa", and the fact that they actually invented the idea of the snap-off blade. I purchased my first Olfa knife and I am delighted with it. I wish I had discovered them years ago. I am only a little older that the first Olfa snap-off knife. If I ever have to buy another snap-off knife in the future (maybe a 9mm version) it will certainly be from Olfa. I wish I found you earlier!
