Makes a perfect cut, durable and good value. Great item.
The L-1 model is easier to handle than earlier models, has a more efficient blade extending/withdrawal/fastening mechanism, & improved safety system to deal with the extended blade. I originally had the model SL-1, which lasted more than 30 years before the blade extending system jammed up for good. Olfa cutters are well designed & made to last, so I am pleased to have an improved model. They cut very effectively, & the snap off blade system is a brilliant idea.
